I'll add I like the

Theraworx foot cramp foam (THIS CONTAINS MAGNESIUM) Get from Walmart online. Very inexpensive. Shake the bottle and put on skin. I put it all over my body.
Magnesium body butter--I get this from Amazon. I use this for pain spot treatment on my skin.

I've tried the following ...

colonoscopy update, 13 years out

Hello,

I was diagnosed with MC at age 50. At age 60 I did the Cologuard stool test to check for cancer. I finally did my next colonoscopy at age 63. I told the gastroenterologists to take a lot of biopsies for MC.

The Gastro did numerous biopsies for MC. All were negative for MC. He did note that ...

Re: DAiry or Gluten Ease, or TriEnza? does that help ?

Hello,

In the US a product called lactaid is popular for dairy intolerance. I tried that. It did nothing. It has a lot of chemicals in it. I found a product called Lactojoy on Amazon. It only has 3 ingredients. It is made in Germany. This product has really worked for when I have knowingly eaten ...

Re: CBD Oil

I've tried three versions of CBD oils for transdermal applications.

I find the magnesium cream to be more effective.

Re: Advice please - Joint pain

You may not tolerate some of these items because most are raw but I'm currently eating the following to reduce pain:

walnuts-about 8 a day
olives-about 8 a day
blueberries--8 or more a day
red cherries--about 8 a day or more
tart red cherry juice (cheapest from walmart) about 2" added to a glass of ...

Re: A dining out story

Marcia,

If you go back to the OC area I highly recommend One Coastal Restaurant in Fenwick. You need reservations. It is a small place.

Re: I need help

Hello,

Pepto is linked to causing tinnitis. It is a posted side effect.

You might try cholestyramine. It is prescription but pretty benign. My PCP prescribed it.

Some prescription meds cause MC.

If you don't have Tex's book it is a good read. I believe there is a link to Amazon at the top.

Re: Newbie from Virginia

Hello,

I've taken the estradiol for about 6 months when I first got MC. I had to get off of it as it gave me headaches.

Since then I've taken bioidentical hormones in creme form for a number of years with no ill effect to my MC.

Magnesium foam and gel--I've bought these at Walmart. I think they ...

Re: Meat Advice

Martha,

I can tolerate a bit of the smaller canned beans. No way could I eat these daily.

I'm okay with some chickpeas and small canned beans. I don't tolerate any of the larger black beans or pinto beans ets. I seem to be better with canned over soaked. There is a small white bean that is sold in ...

Hi Martha,

I'd check with your dental hygienist, your dentist and your doctor for additional remedies.

My dental hygienist has been helpful in the past.

Re: Newbie trying to navigate MC (CC)

Hi NC,

Welcome,

Mom has had about 5 rounds of oral thrush in the last 2 years. It is painful.

Recommend the following:

1. Run a vaporizor in your bedroom at night and your house in the day to put more moisture in your bedroom when you are sleeping.

2. We've been using something called biotene ...

Re: I strayed and now I'm paying for it :(

Cholestyramine helps many many MCers.

I can eat small daily salads but I didn't even attempt them until around year 6 of recovery.

Welcome! I think we might have a Spanish language version of Tex's book around in an electronic version. It may be on Amazon for a nominal charge.

Your English is very good but it may be helpful to have a copy of Tex's book in your native language.

You can achieve remission but it will take time ...

Hi Marcia,

My Dad took red yeast rice for years as he could not tolerate statins. He did not have MC.
