MICROSCOPIC COLITIS SUPPORT

It has been a while since I have been here. My Colitis has been quiet,until now. I have been sick for 2wks and now my back and my shoulders are very sore . Has anyone had this symptom? I am calling the Dr tomorrow since I seem to have an OK day and then a really bad day.

Why is it so many people who have a biopsy come out negative? The symptoms for Gluten intolerance ( I could have written them)

The Dr had suggested in the begging to take PB 2tabs 4x a day...I knocked it to 1 but now I am back to 2,and 2 of my naltrexzone instead of 1. I feel much better. The Dr also mentioned he was not sure which medicine was actually working since I am taking these and a probiotic.

The more I read about Celiac the more I think I am/have it. When I had my colonoscopy they tested, it came back neg. My thyroid DR has always had a inkling I was.

I have been gluten free for 3 days and my stomach has calmed down. It is amazing how your body reacts to food. I was trying to wean of the pepto and the Naltrexzone but I am back to 2 Naltrexzone and pepto 3x a day just to be safe,since Sun - Tue my stomach was not happy.

The probiotic is Schiff acidophilus. I cannot have dairy so I make sure of that,I also stay away from soy (breast cancer runs high in my family) I was using a Mega Food (refrig) probiotic and I may return to that.

Thank you so much..I have already given dairy up ( I was lactose intol it has been about 3yrs) so now I need to work on the gluten which I have dabled with. I am just frustrated with the feeling good 1 day and the next feeling lousy. I am 45 and this was not part off my future...lol

I was diagnosed a month ago and I am miserable about every 3 days. I am taking Naltrexone ,pepto and a good probiotic. When will my stomach calm down? Any tricks to feeling good again?
