Your thyroid could very well be causing some of the other issues, though...so perhaps if there is a problem and they take care of it, maybe some other things will clear up right along with it!

Mary, I can sympathize with you! Last year my daughter fell out of a tree and broke her thumb, then about 3 weeks later my son fell and we thought he broke his wrist. Fortunately, it was only sprained, but you can't take chances on things like that, can you?

Yuck--I have to agree, it IS very depressing. It's to the point where you just don't know what to eat any more. Makes you want to just go grow all your own food because you just don't trust whwere it comes from or what's in it.

Me too! I'd do just about anything to get rid of mine...it's usually not too bad during the day, but when it's quiet it drives me insane! I went to an ENT back in VA and they did lots of tests, but other than suggesting a low-sodium diet, she had nothing to offer me.
