You might try searching the internet for AIP recipes. AIP is the Paleo Autoimmune Protocol, and it excludes all of those things (and a few more) in its initial elimination phase.

Marcia, nut butters can be easily made if you have a high-powered blender (like a Vitamix) I've read it's possible with a food processor too but it takes more time.

I'm still a little leery of the privacy stuff, and the vast amount of data seems overwhelming. But I figured I'd mention it in case anyone's interested. $49 would be pretty cheap for the 23andMe test if you do indeed get all of the raw data. :smile:

I applaud restaurants that ask if you're GF because of an "allergy" or a "preference" -- they want to know how careful they need to be. It's not because they're nosy. They don't want you to get sick either! ;)

I just wanted to chime in as someone who was diagnosed at around the age of 30. It definitely happens! My doc seemed to think it was unlikely, but thankfully he did look for it because everything else seemed to be fine.
