Thanks Tex! He had me do just a three week trial of Uceris and then the pepto was two tablets every 6 hours. So yes that would have been 8/day. But I remember having a hard time getting all 8 in each day at the 6 hour interval. I probably took more like 6/day (oops)! The pepto helped but as soon as ...

Entocort / alldaychemist
Hello all! I have my first follow up appointment since being diagnosed coming up this week. The nurse in my GI office has already told me that the doctor wants me to start Entocort if no improvement (I've only had very MINIMAL improvement). I did a three week Uceris trial with samples from his ...

Still confused about Tuna
I'm still confused about my enterolab result for tuna. It was a 1+ but my "most" reaction in the meat category. My overall score for the antigenic foods was a 10. I do not eat tuna ever. I have eaten salmon maybe once in the last year. I do eat tilapia and occasionally flounder. Would these be where ...

Enterolab Results!
Hello again! Just wanted to post my enterolab results. I think overall they are much better than I expected! I would love input from my fellow MC friends! I especially have questions about the soy being 9 (should I try to minimize since it's borderline??). Also the tuna being positive confuses me. I ...

Thank you both so much for replying. Tex, I read your book and it has given me so much understanding!
It's interesting because you mentioned the lactation part. I breastfed my daughter for exactly 4 months and my symptoms returned within a few days of this! So from your reply I need to go with the ...

Newbie with lots of questions
Hello all. I am a 40 year old female. I was diagnosed with MLC one month ago. My doctor started me on GF/DF diet and gave me Uceris (budesonide) samples to take for three weeks to keep me from spending the $1200/month for Entocort. The Uceris gave me minimal improvement so we stopped it and now I am ...
