Thanks Janie. I hearing that. I just hate being this skinny. I'm 5'7" and 112 right now. I gained up to 114 at one point but for some reason lost those 2 lbs. But good to hear that you were able to gain your weight back and that you did it while using the coconut oil.

Bummer! Better back off on the magnesium, at least until you pin point the problem. Did you take Doctor's Best brand Chelated Magnesium (magnesium glycinate)? . . .no mote than 100 mg per meal? Maybe 300mg is more than you need. Or something else may be the cause of the problem. :shrug:

I’m confused by what I’m reading online. Some suggest that the calcium to magnesium ration is 1:1, and some say 3:1.....and then there’s K2 & vit. D3 to consider.

What’s your opinion from your reading?

I just upped my Mag oral to 300 mg a day and Ancient mineral oil spray on legs and feet and for 2 nights have not experienced leg and foot cramps at night just was common sense to up my May, that's all I've done. Made a big difference.

Hey Sheila, best of luck with your colonoscopy. I don't even know if biopsies are taken with routine colonoscopies. if you do a search and look at previous discussions about probiotics here is a long story short summary of what we have observed

-probiotics are not beneficial when in flare /inflammed
-many strains of probiotics are high histamine so for MC'ers this causes extra inflammation rather than benefit ...
