Re: Colonoscopy?
Haha! That's a very good dose of perspective! I have noticed the ticking of the clock in my head more in recent years.....
But, it sure is fascinating how younger people seem so darn young to me now!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Re: Colonoscopy?
Tex and John, thank you for your replies! I've abandoned that gastro dr and plan to move on to someone more qualified. My tech savvy daughter talked to ChatGPT and found some Dr's that specifically mention expertise in MC in the Virginia/Maryland/DC area. I'll look into that after the holidays.

Re: Colonoscopy?
It was really crazy, Tex! I told my daughter and she said she would have walked out. ;-)
If you have a moment I'd love your thoughts on if another colonoscopy (it's been 8 years) would be beneficial to make sure nothing else is causing problems leading to WD?
I hope you are doing well!

Colonoscopy?
Morning all,
My primary sent me to a new gastro supposedly informed on MC, well let me share a few of his gems of wisdom:
1: fecal testing results aren't worth the paper they're written on
2: Don't go to google for answers (in reply to my talking about THIS forum)
3: What you eat, for example a ...

Re: Tinnitis/ Pepto Protocol
Hi Marcia, I had the chewable tablets but broke them in half and swallowed with water….. it’s definitely gotten worse the last week after stopping the pepto.

Re: Tinnitis/ Pepto Protocol
Permanent was something I was hoping to avoid but if it is I hope I too can get used to it…. Thanks Tex, I hope you’re doing well.

Tinnitis/ Pepto Protocol
Hi all, I did about a month of the Pepto protocol, stopped because I was noticing a grey tinge to my tongue and, more concerning a mild ringing in one ear. Now three weeks later the ringing in that ear is worse. Can anyone hazard a guess if this will be permanent, or maybe (hopefully) fade with time ...

Re: Peanut oil in Progesterone tabs, problem?
Thanks, Tex. I really didn’t think I could possibly get a definitive answer but I always appreciate your knowledge and perspective.
I was diagnosed two + years ago and although things are somewhat better, I wouldn’t call it stable or remission. 🙁

Collagen Hydrolysate/ Collagen Peptides
I want to give collagen a try to help my gut but I see most are made from beef or pork. I have a sensitivity to both (Tex suggested having one or the other no more often than every third day).
Is it safe to assume that I should avoid collagen that is made from beef or pork?

Hahaha, I don't know Tex, you seem pretty snappy and quick to me!
Oh, I so need the reminders! Thank you! I actually stopped taking both to see if it would have any beneficial effect on my getting into remission. No change and I forgot to start taking them again! (I have a spray Magnesium ...
