Do you mean more b-12 in addition to the injection I get once a month ? I also take a daily multi-vitamin that has 100% rda of b-12, however, since I have true pernicious anemia, I don't think I absorb that, right ?

Are you talking about the sub-lingual b-12 ? Do you think that would be better ...

Okay, the other thread about how often we have mc reactions got me to thinking... actually Joanna suggested it, but anyway, maybe I have other food intolerances that are exacerbating my problems.

Avoid caffeine, chocolate, nuts, etc., for three weeks, I have a follow up appt then, if the cyst is gone, then we are assuming I have fibrocystic breast disease, if it is still there, then we are going to surgically ...

I agree, it may be time for a new GP, especially if you feel he isn't doing you any good, or if he is trivializing your problems ! After all, it is YOUR body, and you are the one putting up with the problems, not him !

I get so angry when I hear about a doc blowing someone off ~ I feel so lucky ...

How lucky for you ! Unfortunately, that is not an option for me ~ my gyno says better safe than sorry in my situation ~ family history of breast cancer, etc.

I just noticed you said Arkansas - do you live in Arkansas ? I live in Arkansas ! Anyhoo, I would have liked to have been there to hear Dr. Fine and Dr. Nelson - my pcp had me read a lot of Dr. Nelson's research on Celiac when I was dx'd.
