I have this test done every 6 mos as part of the oncology protocol for having had a carcinoid tumor. I had one on my appendix. I had taken a PPI for about 3 yrs prior to finding the tumor and after doing some research blamed the PPI for the growth of my tumor. I am off PPI now on a regular basis but ...
