Re: Bloodwork question

Meant to reply to you, Tex, after my hematologist appointment last year. I went to MD Anderson for a 2nd opinion on the lymphocytic leukemia, since I didn't trust the hematologist I went to in the Woodlands. It turns out the doc here made an overcall, it wasn't cancer after all. I asked the doc at ...

Re: Help I need to take antibiotics

Am reading this old post as searched UTI’s. Tex, you mentioned taking a probiotic after antibiotics. Is it bad to take them during treatment? I just had a round of Keflex and took Visbiome (112 CFUs) once a day, spaced between morning and night dose. I was paranoid of getting diarrhea and it worked ...

A2 milk products and casein allergy

Has anyone who is casein intolerant tried A2 milk? I apologize if this has been discussed before but I couldn’t find anything when “searched”. My cousin with celiac can’t have casein. I’ve been dairy free for many yrs but got excited when she said she puts A2 milk in coffee. I tried A2 yogurt one ...

Bloodwork question

I know this is a question for the hematologist, but so far I've felt that doctors don't know much about MC so am asking a question here, just to see if anyone knows. Has anyone had a cancer market show positive (100%) for CD45? I think it has to do with lymphocytes and possible Hodgkins lymphoma (Dr ...

Re: Antibiotic Diarrhea

I only took Cefdinir 2 1/2 days and stopped as diarrhea so bad. I then went on a very weak probiotic which did nothing. Am glad to say the Visbiome worked! I know VSl3 is almost the same probiotic so hopefully you’ll have luck too. I feel better than have in a long time. My energy is back and am ...

Re: Antibiotic Diarrhea

Thanks for your response…I’ll go ahead and see what happens with this probiotic. Interesting what you said about types of diarrhea. Yes, I must have secretory as lose so much sodium, chloride and probably magnesium. My energy has been so low this last year and I didn’t equate the sodium or magnesium ...

Antibiotic Diarrhea

First, I want to thank Tex for all your research, your books and having this great resource for all of us. I began the big D in 2013...finally, in 2015 a GI doc diagnosed and conformed Lymphocytic Colitis. He said to stop spicy, fried and fatty foods. That didn't help, then I found your forum ...

Re: VisBiome probiotic?

Just seeing this question as searched Visbiome. My pharmacist recommended it for antibiotic caused diarrhea. Am in a bad MC flare caused by Cefdinir and am hoping that will work. Did you try it? The reviews for it look good.
