My GP has told me that I can take up to 4 tablets a day. That thought slightly horrifies me!! I’m considering taking 2 (one in the morning, one at night) but will put that off for as long as I can.

Maybe I’ll remove bananas from my diet for a few days and see if that has any impact...

Thanks Erica for your input, I appreciate it. I did look into ReMag but it was difficult to get here in a Australia so I opted for something more local first. So far it seems to be going quite well. No negative side effects at all

I’m sensitive to water changes too. Whenever I go on holidays I only drink bottled water. And I use a water purifier at home. Water changes have always caused digestive issues for me, even as a child.

I’ll keep taking the Vitamin D I have then until the new stock arrives and keep a careful eye on any worsening of symptoms.

I used to have psyllium husk quite a bit and my stools were definitely thicker but the stomach pains were much worse. It’s pure fibre I believe and I believe we’re supposed to stick to low fibre while we’re inflamed...but I’m new here so I’m sure someone else will know a lot more then me!

If I was in one of the more northern states I’d be ok but I’m in Victoria which is notorious for its cold and sunless winters. Won’t really improve much for another couple of months at least.

So you would take the vitamin D tablets that I have now even though they contain soy??
