No brand name really...It doesn't have much Magnesium in it, 40mg., so it's ok for me to use w/o causing the big "D"...They are chewable. I started out w/ a half tab 2times daily for a week ...

re; calcium supplements

Hi all;

Just visiting your site today, & saw Polly's comment on Calcium supplements. I have taken Calcium Carbonate w/600mg. of D (chew tabs) 3 times daily for about 2 or so yrs. now. I feel the chew tabs digest more readily in the stomach. At least it hasn't bothered my GERD, so that's a plus ...

I had mine done 2yrs. ago & drank the lite prep. I think 6oz of that salty tasting junk. Since I'm prone to "D", he had pity on me & I didn't have to go the gallon route..Thank goodness for that...lol..Anyway it did the job. Cleaned me right out...lol..

GF, Entocort, etc.

Hey Barb; Good to "see" you again. A big hug to you too. The Entocort thing was an experience for me. Glad I got off of it..Gave me anxiety attacks. And a good thing you found another GI Guy. I'm going to go to my FP. He's in a clinic setting & there is a FP guy in there that specializes in the GI ...

GF&CD

Hi Mathew;

Thanx for your concerns..I too, am going at this w/some trepidation. I was never diagnosed w/CD, only Collagenous Colitis. I went the GF route on my own, due to gas/bloat & of course the big "D"..At the time I was dx, there wasn't hardly anything about the GF diet..I went about it on my ...
