Dr. Fine testing showed a 4 for casein tolerance. I think over 10 was sign of a problem. I'm not a big milk drinker- but do use it a lot in cooking. And CHEESE- OH PLEASE don't want to give it up! And ice cream! If I can just pop a pill and eat it, I will be a happy camper!

I'm reacting to dairy. My question? Can I take a Lactaid and go ahead and eat it? Is it the lactose that causes the D, or something else?

Oh- I forgot to mention sticker shock! I used to bit** that the tp, soaps, detergents and other sundry items made my grocery bill outrageous. Now its the gluten free items! They are right proud of their stuff!
