Thank you, Tex for your speedy response and for sharing (as always) your wealth of knowledge and experience. I'll work on my diet and try to substancially reduce the amount of histamine and see if that helps.
Again, thank you; and have a wonderful weekend!

Re: Bloat/Constipation
I eat lots of turkey. Other common foods include shrimp, salmon, sunbutter, Cocoyo yougurt, bananas, white rice, avocado, cucumber and Violife DF cheese. I was eating a lot of GoMacro bars which are clean except for pea protein, so I'm trying to stay away from those as they may be one cause of the ...

Bloat/Constipation
Hello,
I've considered myself in remission for almost three years, but perhaps it's not really remission if I'm experiencing different symptoms than I had during the onset of the disease (extreme D). I've been having type 1 stools and bloating/lots of abdominal distension for several months. The ...

Migraines
Hello,
I've had headaches most of my life, but in recent years, they have gotten worse and developed into migraines. I see a recommendation here is to take magnesium. I've been taking two Dr. Best magnesium daily for the last year. I'll up the dose to three per day to see if that helps. The ...

Mushroom Coffee
Hi!
I've been in remission for approximately 1 1/2 years but have recently experienced mucus (thinking it may be the result of high job-related stress). I'm going to revert to my bland, base diet to see if that helps.
Once I have this more under control, I'm interested in trying mushroom coffee. I ...

Going Backwards?
Hello,
I’ve been in remission from MC for about 11 months. I’ve been very careful with my diet, eating much of the same foods repeatedly—while also trying new foods slowly (testing for three days). Most of the new food seems to work without issues.
There’s been no D in the last 11 months—just ...

Re: Alochol
Thank you Tex and Marcia. I appreciate your answering the carbonation question. Sounds like I need to wait a bit longer before trying a bit of soda water.

Re: Alcohol
Thank you Gabes and Marcia for your responses. I'll tread carefully with any potential alcohol. I am curious that soda water or tonic water was mentioned as possibly using with distrilled spirits; but since they're carbonated, would they not pose a potential issue?
Thank you,
Anne

Hello,
I'm six months into remission with a very restrictive diet. I have a big event coming and would like to better understand what occassional alcohol may be considered safest. I've had some preservative-free/organic red wine without issue, but that's never available in restaurants. Some ...

Hello!
A family member just tested positive to Covid. In the past, I've taken Zinc, NAC, Vitamins C & D as preventative measures. Now having CC, I'm not sure if Zinc, NAC and Vit C will negatively affect my four-month remission status; or if it'll have adverse affects. I particularly would like to ...

Hello!
I was diagnosed with CC six months ago and have had a restricted diet since. I've been in remission now for six weeks--woo hoo! My Enterolab results showed moderate or significant reactivity to all foods tested on the A1+C1 panel. All results were over 100, even though I ate primarily GF for ...

Re: Food Triggers
Thank you Brandy. I stopped taking most vitamins when I was diagnosed with CC, including the Thorne Methyl Guard+. I'll start that up again. That's good input about having the starchy food later in the day, as I've been noticing the brain fog much more at work lately. I appreciate your input.
