2025/2026 update:

Relapsed in 04/2023 still no remission.

I still had symptoms in 2025 and was prescribed a second go with Budesonide and did the long taper. It did not work. And then I tried Cholestyramine which did help somewhat. Then My last G.I. Doctor retired soooo the hunt was on for yet ...

Your path sounds so similar to mine! I would like to trade Doctor's with you, though! Mine recommended more stool samples if the budesonide doesn't work because MC is an infection.(not) I asked if I would need another colonoscopy and he said no. Right now I'm doing a slow tapering off of the drug ...

Yes, I do remember reading about a longer tapering off of Budesonide and will do so. I have plenty. :-) And I will also take an antihistamine
at the end on a daily basis.

Had my Colonoscopy 12/07/23. New results, Microscopic Lymphocytic Colitis. 2019 Microscopic Collagenous Colitis. Back then, no follow up, no prescription. Now after eight months of a major relapse, and on Budesonide 9mg ...

And eggs! I was so surprised when I received my Entero Lab results as I had been eating eggs every morning for protein. Then I stopped
and my symptoms next morning changed. It's well worth the money to get tested. Like Marcia, I was happy I did.

So wonderful to hear you've had great results with Budesonide. I'm having a colonoscopy next week and have been suffering since April.
Hopefully, I'll be prescribed the same drug with the same results. I was diagnosed in 2019 with MCC and never had a follow up. Then a flare in 2021 that only lasted ...

Hello, Thought I'd write a brief update and then my question.

Started MC relapse in April, Entero Lab test in May, stopped eggs, improved, strictly GF, DF, SF, EF, then hit or miss days over the summer, G.I. Doctor appt. sought another Doctor, finally, finally had a better month in September ...

One I've been able to find without additives or rosemary extract is Diestel ground turkey at 365 WF. (Whole Foods)
