Re: pepto dosing and other questions
For the liquid Pepto (bismuth subsalicylate), most people do 2–4 tablespoons (that’s 30–60 mL) every 30–60 minutes as needed, up to about 8 doses a day. It’s not a perfect fix, but it can help settle things until you get more answers.

Re: Canned tuna
It’s just tuna in brine, not super processed like some snacks. You can rinse it a bit if the salt bothers you, but otherwise it’s a quick, good protein fix

Re: Anyone tried the Enterolab recovery protocol?
I haven’t tried Enterolab’s exact protocol, but I did go grain‑free for a bit and added digestive enzymes to my routine. It really helped settle my gut-especially pairing enzymes with lots of cooked veggies like carrots and zucchini. I also loved the idea of probiotic lozenges after brushing;

Re: Abdominal pain
I started using cannabis prescribed by professionals at Releaf a month ago, and I've noticed a significant improvement in managing my pain and anxiety symptoms. It's a more controlled and personalized option that has provided relief when other treatments haven't been effective. If you've tried ...

Re: Tenderness in Upper Abdomen
I’ve had something kinda similar while tapering off budesonide too, and I noticed more belly tenderness during flares. Pale stool and upper stomach tenderness could definitely be from your pancreas or gallbladder acting up, especially with your history.

Re: Tenderness in Upper Abdomen
The upper stomach tenderness can definitely be scary, especially with pale stools. For me, it ended up being related to my gallbladder acting up, but it’s good you're keeping an eye on it. Since you’ve had pancreatic issues before, it’s smart to bring all this up with your GI, especially with the ...

Re: MC returns after more than a decade against background of chronic pancreatitis
Chronic pancreatitis can shake things up in your gut, so cutting fat and taking Creon is a smart move. Budesonide might help but can take a week or two to kick in. Meanwhile, try eating small portions of easy-to-digest foods (rice, bananas, yogurt), keep taking your enzymes with every bite, and use ...

Re: Depression and antihistamines
If you're struggling with depression and considering alternative options, some people find relief from cannabis strains. Personally, I prefer something like Jaffa Caked Cookies for its relaxing effects.

Re: Need advice please on diet and what to do.
It might be worth trying the low‑FODMAP diet for a few weeks and keeping a simple food diary to spot what’s triggering you. Stick with easy‑on‑the‑tummy stuff (like rice, bananas, cooked carrots, lean chicken or fish) in small meals throughout the day.

Re: Cholecystectomy (Gallbladder Removal) Improved Symptoms?
I had my gallbladder out a couple months back and saw my diarrhea calm down too – now it’s just soft, normal BMs. It’s stayed this way for me so far, so fingers crossed it’ll be the same for you.

Re: Dry Mouth
I’ve had a dry mouth too and found a few things that helped me:
-Keep a small water bottle by your bed and take a few sips before you fall asleep.
-Chew a bit of sugar‑free xylitol gum for a few minutes to kickstart saliva.
-Try a cool‑mist humidifier in your room—it really keeps the air from drying ...

Re: CBD Oil
It’s definitely important to consider potential biases in CBD research. A lot of studies are funded by companies with vested interests. For a more balanced view, checking reviews from real users like these Blessed CBD reviews might help. It’s always good to get a variety of opinions, especially from ...

Re: UTI issues related to MC?
Also, dehydration is likely a contributor too. Your bladder isn't flushed out as often, and bacteria have more chance to grow.
The D mannose has worked well for me. Also, my veterinarian suggested D mannose for my female dog that kept getting UTIs, and it worked for her!

Re: Newly diagnosed with LC, needing some guidance
Supplements are good too, but I believe you can train your immune system to learn what is good and what is not, and doing that through small portions is the way to go. I guess I like the grind, don’t I?
