Re: Should I stop taking Colestipol

Thank you Tex. I have tapered down the last few days and yesterday I didn't take a pill. I seem to be fine so far and everything is normal. Yesterday was the first morning in years that I didn't wake up with gut/stomach issues. I am super hopeful that I am on the right path and healing.

The coffee ...

Should I stop taking Colestipol

Good morning all!

I have been taking Colestipol for just over a month (10/14). It started helping me immediately and it was clear that I had/have BAM. And the BAD stopped. But I still had diarrhea from MC, just not WD or as bad and it was improving. I went very strict GF (was before but was missing ...

Re: Starting Colestipol and some questions.

Thank you both for the great information! I am 4 days into taking 3 pills and my biggest improvement is that I am no longer unbearably sick to my stomach. And I don’t feel like my entire system is inflamed. My stools are not normal by are fewer and seem to be improving. I feel my body adjusting to ...

Starting Colestipol and some questions.

Hello-

My GI has prescribed Colestipol for me and after reading and researching it makes sense that I could have BAM. I have some questions based on what I’ve read on this site from other’s experiences. I picked up my prescription yesterday and took 2 then around 2pm and I’ll say it seems to have ...

Re: Microdosing Helped A LOT

Hi Liz-

I am very interested in hearing more about this! I have just recently looked into LDN and am really interested in microdosing. I am trying to get a handle on things but my symptoms are so much more than WD multiple times a day that it makes it hard to find my footing.

Re: Extremely Nauseous, feeling full & elevated liver enzymes

Thanks Tex, that helps a lot to just know that those symptoms to that degree aren’t necessarily another illness to figure out. I have started taking D vitamins and magnesium over the last couple of weeks so hopefully that can improve things. I have been GF for years but I just realized yesterday ...

Extremely Nauseous, feeling full & elevated liver enzymes

Greetings all!
I was diagnosed with CC about 3 years ago. I have had a ton of labs with docs and working with a functional doc. I just went off budesonide and my WD has started right back up with avengence. But I am suspecting that I have something more than just MC going on but drs are not picking ...
