Thanks so much for the replies so far.

Nicole has not tried Entecort as her insurance will not cover the drug.

She has a lot to consider moving ...

I am new to the board myself, though not the patient with LC. My daughter who is 25 years old was diagnosed about 2 months ago and has been having a hard time accepting that she has LC as well as adjusting to life with it.

Nicole continues to suffer with ...

Robbie,

I understand how you feel. One Dr says one thing. The other disagrees and then sets another course. Through it all, at least in my daughter's case the inconsistency and uncertainty is "scary" at best. My daughter is set to go back to her Gastro Dr in January and is being followed by her ...

Thanks everyone so much for your kind words and comments! Unfortunately, my Daughter is not in the mode to accept what is happening to her. I guess she needs time to grasp all of this. I will keep everyone posted.

Daughter newly Diagnosed Maybe?

Hello to everyone on this message board. My Daughter Nicole is 25 and was recently diagnosed with Lymphocytic Colitis. It started in the summer. Her initial symptoms were pain in the gut area, nausea, vomiting, D over 8-10 times a day. I took her to the ER after she became dehydrated. CT scan ...
