You can also get it from any winemaking supplier. It is used to "fine" wine by stirring it in. Particulates in the wine then bind with the bentonite and settle to the bottom.

I would not be surprised if this were a common problem. My cycles usually cause D and a lot of pain and problems, so much so that my doc is planning a hysterectomy for me at 40. I am interested to see what the responses to your question will be.

I'll second what Tex said. I know you must be restless, but give yourself time to really heal. I pushed myself back to work after major wisdom teeth surgery and ended up worse off than I was right after the surgery itself!

Just a word of caution from someone with MH issues: all antidepressants are not SSRI's. Only SSRI's, as Tex correctly said, are linked to MC. Wellbutrin, trycyclic antidepressants, and other, newer drugs should be considered.
