Thank you Tex!! Had my blood drawn for testing IgA and IgG deficiency. Thanks for that suggestion as well. Not sure what I can do for the deficiency but it's important to know in case I ever need a blood transfusion.

Has anyone ever tried Biswellia ( rhodiola rosea) for LC? Was just reading up on it and there have been good results for various types of colitis. It's plant based and comes in pill form.

Thanks Cathy. Didn't realize that bakers and brewers yeasts were so closely related. I'm going to start by eliminating gluten and see how I do. Sounds like we're in the minority! Just to make sure I understand this, is it true that if you're deficient in IgA that any test results will be inaccurate? That your body needs to produce the right levels of the antibody in order for reliable testing? Tex also mentioned this.

Paula, great that you discovered that certain supplements were giving you problems. I take fish oil, calcium, a multi, vitamins B, C and D, glucosamine/chondroitin/msm. If you don't mind sharing did any of these cause you problems?

Just received the news today that I do not have Celiac disease. However, I'm taking advice from this forum and sent for a kit from Enterolab. In the meantime I have a question about Endocort. Until I get the test results back, if I were to eat gluten, would Endocort prevent symptoms? Just wondering ...
