My dr. prescribed Limbrel for my neck pain. It is a food derived anti-inflamitory. He said some of his patients who usually can't tolerate NSAIDS are able to take it. The active ingredients are Baicalin and Catechin. I've never heard of it and am wondering if anyone here has taken it.

Funny looks you get when ordering food
Today I ordered nachos with no cheese....the look I got from the girl was hilarious. It was almost as if she couldn't comprehend.

Mary - I have no scientific evidence to back this up, but I think there is a definite connection between autoimmune diseases, i.e. type 1 diabetes and hashimoto's thyroiditis, celiac disease (and I believe also gluten sensitivity). You must have the gene that predisposes you to these diseases, but ...

Shelia - Thank you so much for your concern! I am definitely seeing the best neurosurgeon around here. He is the head of the department for Louisiana State University and has taught all over the world. I was his wife's paralegal, so he is also a personal friend. He doesn't want to do surgery until ...

Sara - I did talk to my PCP and he checked it out. The numbness and tingling are not any worse than they have been in the past. I think I would need to have considerable weakness for my neuro to consider me "almost paralyzed". He suggested that I look into having injections to block the nerve. The ...

Degenerative disc disease
Does anyone else here have degenerative disc disease? I recently got off of pain management because I am no longer having fibromyalgia pain, but now the pain in my neck and right shoulder that I've had off and on for about 20 years is back. I've had numerous MRI's which have shown degenerative disc ...

Thanks, everyone! I think she is the most beautiful bride ever, but I think I might be a little biased. I took them to the airport on Monday for their honeymoon. She had tears in her eyes and told me that the wedding was the best day of her life and that she and her new husband had the most ...
