So what's next? I can't push my gastro on this any more - she thinks I am crazy. They are doing the mast cell stains but said they won't be ready for a week or so. I guess I'll just wait for that. Is there any way other than through the pathologist to determine whether it's PC LC?
Thanks -
Lisa

So here is the addendum from the pathologist. Not so helpful and no numbers:
"On immunochistochemistry analysis of block "B" the lamina propia lymphocytic infiltrate is predominantly composed of CD3 positive T-cells with very few CD20 positive B cells and scattered CD117 positive mast cells. No ...

question about enterolab vs MRT testing

Are enterolab results "permanent"? And MRT tests things you can exclude and then slowly include at some point down the road? Or are reds something you will probably never be able to eat again. I am confused.....
Thanks and sorry for all the questions.

Okay - I won't make any rash decisions. :)
I had a long talk today with my dietician - she seems to think my rice and potatoes may be elevated because my diet is so limited, and I have been eating a lot of rice and potatoes. A lot. So I guess if I cut them and try some other grains I might be able ...

Thanks - I literally do not know what I will eat! I live on rice milk, rice based (and gluten free) cereals, and potatoes - for almost every meal.
Ugh!

So this very nice assistant from the pathology department at the hospital where I had my colonoscopy has been feeding me information after I emailed him with those questions on Monday. I was doing this w/o my dr, because when I called her office to see if she had any more info (like what does ...

No - I am over the top mad at and disappointed with my doctor too. She keeps telling me it is not a mast cell issue and that it is a big waste of time. Any time I suggest something she says "no, that's not it." She won't let me stay on the entocort. She didn't even call me with the pathology results ...

No worries - I so appreciate all of your help and know you have a life of your own! I am going to see what he says in response to my original email - and then if he needs refinement I'll use what you wrote to further explain. I am trying not to be too annoying (my gastro is beyond annoyed with me ...
