Well, it isn't cheap because organic is important.
As far as calories, I'm 3 days in and I seem to be getting enough. I am hungry, although I hear that you adjust to not eating and that cravings dissipate. I'm sort of taking it a day at a time...
I sure am more confortable throughout my entire ...

Hi Tex,
I have had those chips. I will be very disciplined about not eating any other chocolate than that and see how that goes.

As far as the horses, thankfully this disease hasn't slowed me down with my work/training, although before I went off gluten, it was starting to interfere. But I end up ...

I am a dressage trainer and I own and operate the horse stable of 21-24 horses. It's a ton of work and because of my digestive issues, I end up not eating until the end of the day.

I can report at the start of day 3, I have no night time back pain again!!

Hi all,
I was diagnosed with LC a couple of years ago and then went GF thanks to this board ( and Tex). It saved my life, I am sure -- I couldn't leave the house, severe weight loss, excruciating pain, severe bloating. But I still haven't gotten well enough (less severe but still D, bloating), even ...

I already don't eat soy due my thyroid disease. I sure will be sad if there is a problem with milk and eggs. I need the protein. I have a VERY active lifestyle.

Gluten Free - and I dare to say... IT'S WORKING!!

I've been gluten free for more than 3 weeks now and am already seeing dramatic improvement. First and foremost, my belly doesn't feel so miserably uncomfortable at all any more. Even after a meal, I am totally fine! No more sprinting for the toilet. No more general aching. No more painful gas ...

I was diagnosed with hashimotos rather easily when a doctor noticed that I had an enlarged thyroid (I was around 30). She gave me a prescription which lowered my TSH under 5.0 and said I was in good shape. Being very naive about doctors, I believed her. Unfortunately I spent the next year and a half ...

Sara,
I have considered breaking up with him from the start but I am not optimistic that anyone else would be better. The first GI that I went to 6 months before this guy said that based on my symptoms of severe chronic diarrhea 6-8 times per day for months on end with severe cramping, bloating, and ...

I went to a dermatologist yesterday and told her about the rash. Some of my rash is currently now skin that has lost pigment, but I have a new small patch of rash higher up on my leg. A cluster of tiny red blister like bumps filled with fluid that itch HORRIBLY. She did not even look at it. She did ...

Well if you want a little more fodder, every time I see my GI, I remind him that he was unable to complete my colonoscopy and he ignores me. When I went in with my skin problems and reminded him again of the incomplete scope, he looks surprised and read his report for the first time. One year later ...

Don't doctors have to complete continuing education? I was a CPA and had to do 80 hours every 2 years. Don't they read new reports and studies?

Need a new GI doc, need feedback

Hello,

I posted a couple of months ago after having a major breakout of rash and lumps on my legs. No resolution yet on that after 3 doctors. Turns out my 1/2 sister was just diagnosed with celiac and autoimmune thyroid... so I noticed a link on her FB page and clicked on it. There is a common ...
