I had the ultra sound and the technologist was very good with me. I got to see the whole thing - including the 2 cm cyst and a smaller one which are both clear and look good. The doctor has not seen the results yet but the lady that did the scan has been doing them for years and says they look fine. The larger one may have to be drained at some point, I will have to have them monitored probably every six months, but there is no cancer that she could see.
WooHoo!
I can't believe how stressed and sick I was over this whole process...oh wait, yes I can.
Thank you all for your well wishes over this emotionally draining time.
What a relief!!!!!!! I'm so glad it was cysts and not cancer!

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Congratulations on a really good diagnosis and thank heavens it can be monitored and is not anything more serious. Still a medical condition but no operations or anything worse.
I am sure you are so relieved.
Love, Maggie
