soft piles

Post by jmayk8 »

So I have been gluten free for a few years (celiac) and dairy free and soy free for about 2 months. I had my sensitivity food panel done about a month ago and have been staying away from yeast and sweet potatoes ever since. However, my stool has become softer and softer piles of D in the toilet. I feel like they were more 'formed' when I was eating things i was sensitive too. It's so aggravating..

We tend to become more sensitivitie to our food triggers as time goes by. In fact, for many of us, a trace of some food that we cut out of our diet a few weeks or months ago, can cause a more severe reaction than we had before we changed our diet. Apparently, the immune system becomes more sensitive when it doesn't have something overwhelming it day after day.

You might examine your diet to see if there is something that you are eating every day that might be suspicious, (such as supplements, or chocolate, etc.), or some source of cross-contamination.

Good luck tracking it down. A diary is usually helpful for this type of situation, (if you aren't keeping one already).

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
