Ok, no luck with the elimination diet.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Morning J,

Like others, I can totally understand where you are. It really does take time. My case was interesting in that it took me way longer than anyone else posting here to attain remission. Years as a vegan and doing a lot of grain based "meat" substitutes really took its toll on me - that is the theory I hold too. It took me over 10 years to attain remission but I remained diligent and finally it came. Have been good for almost a year now and hope it stays that way. This past weekend was a slip on my part by eating a bit of cheese and it surely took its toll. The elimination diet does work and without meds remission can be achieved.

You are in my prayers.

Maggie
