If You Order Meds From A Pharmacy In A Foreign Country . . .

Post by tex »

Hi All,

If you order any meds from an online pharmacy, (in a foreign country), be sure that you do not order more than what is considered to be a normal, 3-month supply, in any individual order. The reason for this is that customs agents have orders to confiscate any foreign drug orders that are "not for personal use", and anything more than a normal, 3-month supply is considered to be "not for personal use", by definition. Any order quantities that exceed that limit are assumed to be "for resale", and subject to confiscation at the port of entry.

I'm not saying that they will catch every order that includes more than that amount, but this is the basic guideline that applies, when you import any prescription drugs into this country, (and I have a hunch that rule probably applies in many other countries, as well).

This is just a FYI, as the cost of prescription drugs continue to rise rapidly, and more and more of us find it necessary to buy our meds from a much cheaper source than our domestic pharmacies, if we are to be able to afford the cost of treatment.

Love,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
