You know, the original research article that Dr. Hyman's blog is based on, was published about 2 years ago. One would think that it would be making huge waves in the celiac and medical communities, but no one else seems to be paying any attention. 
It's almost as if they feel that ignorance is bliss, so why bother learning anything new about the disease. 
I guess that's why the diagnostic rate of celiac disease continues to remain at pathetic levels, decade after decade.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
