Why can't I post?

Post by Lesley »

I hope this one shows up. I have tried to ask a few questions, but can never find my posts or any replies. Do posts have to be approved?

I see your post, Lesley. I'm new to this and don't have a lot of knowledge, but I'll help you if I can.

Lesley,
Your post is showing up. Maybe you weren't on the main message board when you were posting. Make sure you click on the Main Message Board at the top of you screen on the left. Then go further down on the left and click on "new topic".

Sorry for the problem. I have no idea why your posts are not showing up. Be sure when you submit a post that you click on the "Submit" button, and not on the "Preview" button, or the "Save as Draft" button.

If you accidentally click on the "Save as Draft" button, you can find your post by clicking on either of the two links above the forum that say, "View your drafts and topics you have posted to", or "View your drafts and posts". If you see your post there, you can click on it, to open it, and then click on the "Edit" button, and then you can either edit it, submit it, or save it as a draft again.

If you're logged on, the system will automatically enter your post, as soon as you click on the "Submit" button - no approval is necessary. Of course if something in a post is inappropriate, it may be subject to either editing by a moderator or administrator, or removed, depending on circumstances, but that's rarely necessary.

I hope that you're now able to continue posting.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

I have been submitting rather than anything else. Thanks for letting me know that this one did show up..

I have had this for years I think, but was only recently diagnosed with MC. I have the 24/7 diarrhea, week of constipation type.

I haven't been digesting food properly for a long time, and produce goes right through me. I have not been getting any nutrients as a result. My electrolytes are totally out of whack and have been that way on and off for a very long time. I am SO sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I get to a crises, end up in hospital, more drugs are added, more side effects, and more drugs to counteract them. I couldn't afford entocort (donut hole) so they put me on prednisone, which I loathe.
I have really serious Gerd, have been on NSAIDS for years. I have had Fundoplication, which doesn't seem to have helped.

I bought a juicer so I get nutrients from the veggies without the fiber. Has anyone used this approach?
