bad day

i did have a massive headache on friday...got worse as the day went on, had a bit of one on sat., not as bad and then the watery d....?? no headache today though. i know you are not a dr. but what is your recommendation tex??

Well, I really can't give out any medical advice, but I can tell you what I would do, if I were in your situation. I would either check with my doctor, or stop taking either the Lialda or the Pepto-Bismol, to see if that helps.

Another possibility is that there might be some sort of "stomach virus" going around in your part of the country, that you might have caught. If that was it, then you should be getting better by now. Sometimes a virus of that type can cause D that lasts longer than normal, though,for someone with MC, but your other symptoms should be starting to disappear, by now, if it was a virus. If I thought it might be a virus, I would wait another day or two, before making any changes. In the long run, though, high doses of salicylates are not a good idea.
