Lialda cost!

Post by jmayk8 »

Soooooo my insurance coverage changed and instead of paying $40 for my Rx I just went to pick it up and had to pay $171!!!! I almost had a heart attack! My insurance only pays 50% of it. So I cringed and handed the pharmacist my debit card..I know some of you guys buy your meds online, can I find Lialda for cheaper somewhere else???
Thanks
Jenny :)

Jenny,

Alldaychemist doesn't carry Lialda, unfortunately. They do carry Asacol and Mesacol, (which is a foreign brand of Pentasa), but the individual pills are priced basically the same as their generic brand of Entocort, (Budez CR), so based on the normal recommended dosage, it would be cheaper to use Budez CR, (which is generic budesonide).

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
