took a nice fall

well had a appt. and of course do I walk---no~~~~ why walk when U can sorta run and then missed the curb and fell down-- -
got home-- bruised leg and left hand--was a bit sore but as the time passed the *kinda sore* got to pain--so off to hospital---diagnosed with a fracture (small) in the left hand----thats the one I used to kinda keep me from falling on my face--- --so left hand up to elbow in a light cast---it will mend nicely---BUT what really HURT me was that I ruined the best pair of brown slacks that I LUVED-- tore a hole in the knee-
Needless to say Louie thought I was ridiculous but hey---thats a woman for ya~~~~~

Now--I told L. --I have to go out and replace--as best I can--those slacks---so he went into my closet and brought out another pair of brown slacks and said *here*---NOPE--they not the ones I *luved*-----he rolled his eyes and said---In other words its *shopping time again*

Cant fool him any longer~~~~

So sorry you fell. Darn curb! One of those got my mom once, broke her wrist. It really annoyed her because she was coming out of church! Hope you will heal well and quickly.

That's a heck of a note, I'm sorry about the fracture in your hand, but I'm glad that you were able to keep your face from hitting the concrete. That would have probably been a lot worse.

I'm so sorry, Barbara. It sounds like you braced yourself from a nasty fall. A cast from your hand to your elbow? Can't do dishes that way. I hope you mend quickly. I understand about the favorite brown pants and hope you can find a replacement pair.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear this! Not only a wrist-break, but the favorite slacks? SOOOO unfair.

Hope you're already having a smooth recovery, Barbara - I had a wrist break a couple of years back from tripping over - not sure, maybe dirt? I went back to look at the spot and couldn't figure out what happened...

Hope the pain is zero-to-none, and wishing you speedy healing!

Oh Ouch Barbara! Hope you're a righty and not a lefty so it won't be quite as bad.
I know what you mean about the slacks-I've got a couple of pair that I don't know what I'm going to do when they're "finished". Good luck on the healing and the slacks search.
