Family visiting

Post by starfire »

Just wanted to say that I'll likely be scarce on here for a while starting tomorrow. Pam & Todd (daughter & her husband) are coming up for a week. I'll be glad to see them and glad also to get some help with some of this "stuff". haha

I was supposed to start feeding corn to the deer and turkey a couple of weeks ago to assure they they would see plenty of them but with the "disaster" that hasn't happened. Hope they won't be too disappointed. Also, since I stopped feeding the birds, they aren't likely to see a bear either.

Cold here today. I've been using a space heater to conserve fuel oil but had to turn the furnace on for a bit today. I was cold so I knew Mom was quite cold. I have to conserve fuel oil because the oil truck can't get to my house by driving through the creek. Have to wait for a bridge.

I'll be thinking of you all.

Enjoy the visit with your daughter and son-in-law. I hope they can help finish the work that needs to be completed. Perhaps they'll be lucky and see a deer and some birds.

We've had our heat on for a couple of weeks now. DH said he didn't want to turn it on until October. I told him I was cold and I didn't care that it was September. Usually I'm the fiscally-restrained one, but not when it comes to feeling cold!
