how soon after eating would bowel movement indicate intolera

For me it took about 24 hours of discomfort until the D hit, but it hit hard. I had a bad night last night, and am still gurgley and have abdominal pain today. I am also in pain and exhausted. Not fun. I am hoping it will pass over soon, without having to take imodium because that gives me C and I have as much trouble with that as I do with the D.

It really is individual, but the common thread seems to be avoiding gluten and casein.
