Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have been amongst the missing for the most part. Have had a very bacterial infection in my left eye and was suggested that I rest it and do as little as possible on the computer. Yea right - with work at hand. Was using drops since last Thursday and will end tomorrow. Also the dreaded antibiotics but did take probioticsw with it and they last until this Thursday.

Welcome to the newbies and starting tomorrow will try to be better at seeing and talking with you all.

Love, Maggie

Glad you're on the mend. Gotta take care of those Bird-spotting eyes!
Going out this afternoon in hopes of seeing an immature Sabine's gull. One was reported at a nearby lake. We never see those in Ohio. Hope we lucky.

Wow Maggie - as the saying goes around here "if it's not one thing, it's another". Sorry you've been having a hard time, but hopefully the worst is now behind you, and your eye will recover completely. It's good to have you back on the board.

Love,
Kari

Maggie!

Sorry to hear about the eye. Sounds as if the MC is in check, however, so that's good news at least. I guess the probiotics are helping.
Heal fast!!!

Hi Maggie,

That's a heck of a note. As Kari said, there's always something happening, just about every time we turn around. I hope the infection is under control by now, and your eye heals completely.

Love,
Tex

Thanks everyone for your good wishes and kind throughts. Kathy, I really want a Sabine Gull. We had plans to bird last weekend but needless to say, that was put off due to the eye. Probably will be a couple of more weeks before we can. Polly - the probiotics helped to avert any flares. Now to end this problem and get on with happy times.

Love, Maggie

Maggie, it was there among a big bunch of ring-bills. Soooooo cute. Small and buff colored with the most beautiful wing markings. Here are pictures of the bird, the very bird! http://donaldthebirder.blogspot.com/201 ... -gull.html
