Joe,

Just gorgeous pictures! Nestle is such a cutie. Thanks for sharing!

Snow in October??....noooooooo!

We have winter weather warnings in surrounding counties all the way down here in DC for this weekend. I don't expect I'll see much being so close to DC, but just hearing the word "snow" in the forecast as an even remote possibility this early in the season is disgusting for this warm weather girl. I still have impatiens that are in bloom, I don't want to see them covered in snow!!

Snow or sun, have a great (healthy) weekend all!

Great pictures, Joe. Fall colors are so amazing. I love the picture of Nestle with the spray of water behind her.

Wishing you the best in the next year, and great success in finding a job in Australia that the DOD lets you take.

hi from ireland, good to hear you are doing well, my poor husband has to listen to my ramblings about my bowels(i can talk about it now, too much i think!) so when i showed him your photos he realized we can talk about other things!!!! he is really into photography and it is a big hobby for him, you have a very good camera and plenty of talent, you gave us a picture of your hike, here we get little autumn colour as as soon as september comes the atlantic gales start and everything gets blown away!, as for me i am doing well, no imuran but i still blow up a somewhat after lunch, no matter what i eat but it is managable and we are going on our 2 month trip to Mauritius, for me the only issue is trying to cook in a VERY hot humid climate with no air con, any tips?, anyway thanks for the snaps ,really enjoyed them, Beni

Hi Joe,

Love the snake shot! Always love the posts from the men! (Particularly since my GI doc told me my disease was a disease of geriatric women, i.e. 80 and 90 year olds.) I'm only 50 but I don't feel like I'm ready ready to "check out." I can't imagine what the GI docs say to the men.

Morning Joe,

Stunning pictures and Nestle is just a gorgeous dog. You are right that we can learn many lessons from our 4-legged friends. It is a pleasure knowing you and so happy the health issues have improved so. Pray every day for you that you land a job in Aussie land. You well deserve it.

Love, Maggie

Joe,

Again... You have quite the eye for composition. Going to start calling you Ansel.

Great pictures, Joe. Looks like we're in for a snowy winter all across the country. Here on the west coast we are having a 3rd year in a row of going from winter to summer - no spring or fall - is it that way on the east coast? My SIL in CT finally got her power back on just 2 days ago since the big storm.
