How do I break the C cycle without causing a D explosion?

Hi again, Lesley - I don't know the answer to this. But I do know that when I tried to force myself to go by taking MoM or something like it, I felt so much worse. I learned to live with the discomfort until my body found its way back to normal again. But I don't know how bad your discomfort is, so it may not be tolerable that way for you. I really wish you speedy healing.

I have severe GERD, and have gone cold turkey on PPIs, except for yesterday, when it was so bad I wanted to make sure the pain was from the GERD, and not from my heart or something else.
The C also causes extreme discomfort, so my whole alimentary canal feels like it is on fire, and under a sledgehammer. When I do have a BM, even though it is not Norman, I feel a bit better, even though I know there is a lot more in there, and that it will build up again.

I have had severe C for years, until the D started about a year ago, and now I swing back and forth, mostly because of the pain pills I am on.
Just trying to manage this as best I can.

I don't know what to do about the C, I have heard a glass of warm water in the morning helps. Also, drinking lots of water during the day.

I wish I could be more help.

Thanks Nancy. No one does. I have battled this my whole life, but now it's a matter of managing to have a BM without causing D
