tex,
i didnt realise my post was there, thanks for the advice.
i am not eating anything with soy or eggs.
only rice chez with almond milk for bfast, turkey meat (primo taglio GF one) with GF bread for lunch.
bananas and just rice, overcooked veg and beef/chicken for dinner with nothing else.
every other day i feel crappy.
today surprisingly i feel o.k.
tommorow, it will come back.
i feel just like i did before entocort.
as in some days in the week fine, others stomach very dodgy no appetite so go back to BRATdiet, then D at least once a week.
hope it doesnt get more than that.
i never seem to get a week where i feel great.
it sucks...........

I'm so sorry that you're back at square 1. This condition is extremely frustrating, isn't it?

Eight weeks isn't nearly enough time to taper off Entocort slowly enough so that you can test foods. Entocort should be used as a tool to help you determine what is bothering you as you slowly reduce it. I have a feeling that you have been following your doctor's timetable. GIs don't understand that Entocort masks our symptoms; it doesn't heal our gut.

Trust me, I know exactly how you're feeling. What has helped me a great deal is to maintain a food/symptoms diary. If you are having problems every other day, that's a valuable clue. Try eating similar meals two days and see if you still have problems every other day. Usually the foods that we eat and cherish the most are the ones to suspect. Is your GF bread free of eggs? Perhaps the yeast in the bread is a problem. We are amateur detectives when dealing with our MC intolerances.

Not to throw too much at you, but are you taking any other medications?

Hope you figure this out and get to feeling better soon!

Sheila,

The easiest thing, till you find the magical GF bread with *no* suspect ingredients, is just to take a break from you supplements. Just a week, maybe two. If it helps, then you can research soy-free supplements (there are lots). If it doesn't help... let the search for a GF bread commence!

Good luck. We are all 'works in progress' on the MC road, to some degree or another.
