A new very good pasta
I just tried this tonight. It's from Italy and very good, even the texture. I have found with rice pasta to rinse it well.

Hi Deb,
I have been using a brand called "Tinkyada" I found it in the specialty isle of the supermarket. Its also made with brown rice. I had to cut the cooking time when I cooked them the second time, the first time they came out like mush! They are great tasting! I am Italian and I am very very fussy about my pasta, but this one is good (even fooled my husband).
Here's to healthy eating!

Robin, I have been using Tinkyada too. I just found the Jovial recently and I think the texture (at least in the spaghetti, which is all I've tried) is better. It actually was al dente. I was a big pasta fan (probably my first clue
) and I would have a hard time recognizing this from regular pasta. I do like to incorporate my sauce into the pasta (not put on top) which I think helps too.

I haven't been happy with any of the GF pasta. Does this one have soy flour as an ingredient? I've been making my own but it is a big pain and a big mess. GF pasta is SO stiff, just doesn't seem to absorb sauce or flavors. My DH hates the stuff and that forces me to make two pots of pasta, another pain in the neck.

Its only ingredients are brown rice and water (though it is in a facility that processes soy)
