Book Title
Tex the new tag line: "You can get your life back". Would be a great title for a book...

That might mislead a lot of people who are looking for a book that offers solutions to radically different problems, though. I would assume that only a small fraction of the people who are trying to get their life back, have MC. I can envision zillions of divorcees, parolees, addicts, people with various medical issues, etc., throwing the book down in disgust, when they see what it discusses.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

IOW, I don't "dis" those foods to make them look bad - I mention their "problems", and cut through the hype, to illustrate why those who claim that they can't live without them, haven't done their homework, because they really don't have much to offer, healthwise.
Besides, I would think that dairy farmers would be meaner, on the average, because they're so fed up with having to work 7 days a week, 52 weeks out of the year.
And if worse comes to worse - I can always offer them an autographed copy, and promise that they can get their life back.

Gabby,
I tried to think of a few names, when I read your post, but frankly, that one didn't cross my mind.
Thanks,
Tex

Tex!
When will the book be done? I want an autograph copy for me and about a dozen more to hand out to all the doctors who mis diagnosed me!
Oh wait, then I need a few more copies to give to family and friends who think I am crazy because they never heard of MC.
Where would we all be without you Tex?!
I hope you have a VERY HAPPY & HEALTHY THANKSGIVING!
Love
Robin

Robin,
I hope to finish it in a couple of months, or so - I'm writing the last couple of chapters, which should be the easy ones.
Unfortunately, no self-respecting doctor is likely to read anything related to the field of medicine, that was written by some guy who doesn't even own a white coat.
I hope you have a most enjoyable thanksgiving, too.
Love,
Tex
