Well I never...Is it contagious?

Post by Lesley »

Went to my dentist today. I haven't been for a while because every time I was scheduled to go I had an attack of D. I even got there once but spent my appointment time in the toilet, and had to run home while I could make it.

Anyway, today she told me she is having the very same problems. D 10 times a day, flooding her at night etc. She has an appointment with an internist (?) to do blood tests etc.
I told her to GO OFF GLUTEN! I also explained the difference between a sensitivity and an allergy.
I said she could take me to a VERY cheap lunch, since I can't eat anything and I would tell her more.

WOW, Lesley, if your dentist takes you up on this and is open, that would be impressive. (And she will be so grateful.)

She's very open. She's so funny. A bipolar perfectionist. I might not be as happy with her if she was only bipolar, but being a perfectionist drives her to push harder to be the best.

She described, in the type of graphic detail we are used to here, exactly what is happening to her. It was SO clear that she is "on my trail" so to speak. Her symptoms and mine were identical, although she has not had the same auto immune difficulties, unless you count the bipolar, for which she is on meds, which might have triggered the MC.

She is totally ignorant on the internet and never uses it if she can help it, so she is unlikely to come here, unfortunately.

Lesley,

How great that you could pass on what you've learned here to someone else! Even if she never checks out the forum (and I hope she does), she knows that you know what she's experiencing and can give her good advice. Yay you!

She won't because she is more than computer illiterate, she honestly has a phobia. She has a great laptop her hubby bought her. She won't use it. I suggested my skin care products to her. She loves them, but can't read about them because she won't go online.
Still, if I have put an idea in her head and she goes gluten free it may be enough. If not, she knows where to find me.
