heh heh...
The tragic news is that no treatment will cure celiac disease. But the disease can be managed with a gluten-free diet.
'Tragically' enough, the patient profiled in this story is no longer on three different psychiatric medications, for three different 'disorders'... I can see why the psychiatrist (whom he no longer sees?) finds this 'tragic' - but I'm just guessing wildly that the patient sees it a little differently.

GREAT FIND, Joan. Thanks for posting it. I'm not going to pick on the rest of the article, despite my tiny quibbles - because it does a huge service to countless people like this young man, who are afflicted with multiple troubles (and no doubt more on the way), and who need not suffer, nor take risky drugs (for their whole lives), to be truly well.

This may have been posted previously but I'm too tired to search.

Love how authoritative and wrong that guy is! Bet he sticks to his guns at home, too (and his wife is saying, sure, hon, non-celiac gluten sensitivity... NOW it exists, but it still doesn't count... is that what you're saying?)

But you would say, a glutenfree diet is a treatment for celiac disease?? Or is treatment nowadays only pills, pills, pills???
