right under my ribs. Not just in the front, it's really the side.
When you guys say "left side" where exactly do you mean? I am trying to pinpoint sensations and pair them with food. I woke up with this and it's just got worse. It doesn't feel muscular. It feels internal.
I also still have the heaviness and elephant pressure in my abdomen, front AND back.

With MC or diverticulitis, the pain is often located in the LFQ, around the sigmoid colon. Higher than that would suggest either kidney or gallbladder issues, especially if the pain is noticeable in back, also. Gallbladder pain usually comes after a meal, though, not before, and is closer to center. I was thinking that you no longer have a gallbladder, anyway, but I could be thinking of someone else.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Oops! My typing certainly isn't impeccable.
That should have been "LLQ", not "LFQ", obviously.
The colon seems to be the most likely option - the pain should be a little higher if a kidney infection were causing it. Some members have even been known to have pain there when they formed their first Norman, after years of D.
