I never thought of it that way before, but you know what? You're right. Why are our friends always feeling sorry for us, and trying to help us out with food suggestions that are usually not in our best interest? We're the ones who feel good - they often feel like hell, but they're not willing to acknowledge that they have a problem, and since misery loves company, they hate to see us missing out on all the "fun".Sara wrote:I know a lot of people who feel truly lousy, pretty often, and think that's normal. But I'm the one with the 'condition' - right?
So that's what inspires them to be so persistent in recommending all the things that we know we shouldn't have.
Love,
Tex
