no bloating,
I am on holiday now in Mauritius, so far things going very well, I was nervous to leave but have been very surprised at how well my gut seems, I HAVE NO BLOATING, WHY???????? here I eat the same diet as at home, I cook my own food and now and again we eat out at a resturant thats swiss owner has a nephew who is ceolac, what I am wondering is why I bloat 3 or 4 times a week at home but not here, we have been here 2 weeks, the only difference to my life has been bottled water and sunshine, could there be a problem with the water at home or is my health just getting better, still taking 9mg endocort, any bright ideas, ???? dont want to go home and start bloating again, Thanks in anticipation of an answer, Beni
Beni,
Do you use wooden spoons for cooking? I had some additional "risk factors" after the initial kitchen cleanup, and it took a little time to figure them out.
Some pots and pans are easier to clean than others (and some are impossible). Cutting boards, colanders, etc. -
I've had that experience, too, of feeling better and not knowing why. It's disconcerting, but definitely a good thing! Glad to hear your trip is going well...

Hi Beni,
It's good to hear that your trip is going so well. Maybe you're just getting further along with healing. If the bloating returns when you get back home, though, it will be time to look for contamination possibilities, as Sara mentioned.
I hope the rest of your holiday continues to go well.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
