That sounds just awful and I'm glad you got it taken care of immediately. :yikes:

I came onto the site looking for info about boils and then, voila, there you are with a cyst. I think what I have is a boil. I got them 5 years ago before I had my spinal fusion. I know that stress is a great way to hatch a boil and I have plenty of that. This thing just started and I've begun the whole routine of hot/warm salt water compresses, anti-bacterials, tea tree oil, clean towels every time I come near the thing and an antibiotic cream I used last time that is put on the boil and up both nostrils.

I had been bragging about no stomach issues with all of the stress lately and, of course, I spoke too soon. I'm starting to have some serious stomach pains even though I'm eating very carefully. My DH has just started the 7th week of chemo and is so, so sick. I think that being so helpless in this situation stresses the heck of most people.

Well, it seems to always be "something" going on in the old body. I just can't get sick. DH can't do anything, literally. We have 3 more weeks of chemo and then 2 weeks at home before we go to M.D. Anderson in Houston.
Good luck with your healing and hoping your cyst is gone for good.
