2 year anniversary - celebrate with a poo joke

Post by Gabes-Apg »

It is my 2 year anniversary for MC diagnosis and finding this wonderful group of super dooper people!
You all Rock
:australianflag:

I have already done my 'is it worth it' and getting my life back posts..... so as a celebration I thought i would share some poop jokes...., and i am pretty sure you wont see any poop jokes in the xmas bon bons...

A child walks in to the living room and asks "Dad, where does Poo come from?" Without wanting to be too explicit the father replies "Well, son. First Mummy makes us dinner. Then we eat it. Then the body takes away all the goodness from the food to make us strong. Then we sit on the toilet and what's left comes out as poo".
Looking stunned and somewhat upset the child replies, "And what about Tigger and Piglet?"

Wishing you all a great week with minimal (hopefully no) symptoms!
(lesley - just for you, i hope that each day is in someway better than the one before)

Thanks for the laugh, Gabes! If anyone can appreciate a good poo joke, it's the Potty People!

And congrats on your 2 yr. anniversary!!!

Hi Gabes,

Congratulations on your anniversary, and thanks for starting my day with a good laugh.

I hope the next two years are much better than the last two.

Congratulations Gabes on your ongoing success in managing MC, you certainly have shown us "your way" through the maze and given hope and encouragement to many.

Gabes, the jokes are great. Thanks. I love to laugh.

While it seems odd to congratulate someone on the anniversary of a disease diagnosis, having a diagnosis and being able to figure out how to handle it, is truly a milestone, so congratulations! May each year be better than the last.

Love,

A couple of poems

Post by Stanz »

Coin Operated Toilet

Here I sit, broken hearted,
Paid a dime, and only farted,
Straining hard, my cheeks are parted,
I never should have even started.

From the can, you'll hear my rants,
As I squirm, and do the dance,
Cause yesterday, I took a chance,
Saved a dime, but shi* my pants.

A Fart

A fart can be quiet,
A fart can be loud,
Some leave a powerful,
Poisonous cloud.

A fart can be short,
Or a fart can be long,
Some farts have been known,
To sound just like a song.

Some farts do not smell,
While others are vile,
A fart may pass quickly,
Or linger awhile.

A fart can create
A most-curious medley,
A fart can be harmless,
Or silent, but deadly.

A fart can occur
In a number of places,
And leave everyone
With strange looks on their faces.

From wide-open prairies,
To small elevators,
A fart will find all of us
Sooner or later.

So be not afraid
Of the invisible gas,
For always remember,
That farts, too, shall pass.

Congrats on the anniversary, Gabes, have a great holiday.

Martha
for me, the Dx is definately worth celebrating

- 4 - 6 years of mysterious symptoms that stumped various medical specialities finally made sense, had a reason for occuring and were not permanent
- I found and became friends with the most wonderful, caring, amazing people i have ever met, who totally understand why doing a normal Bm is worthy of a song and dance!

Connie, LOVE your work! another element that proves that we are kindred spirits from a previous life!

and there is no better group of people that i would share jokes and a good belly laugh with!

take care xox

I can't take credit for the "poetry", Gabes, I found it online, there are endless sites for potty humor.

I agree that the Dx is worth celebrating, my daughter and grandson have both gotten positive GS results now from Enterolab and Charlie just turned 2 last Sat. Imagine how different their lives would be w/o knowing this now? And that's just in my family, many others whom I have shared my Dx with, have now gone GF and are feeling so much better. We here are part of this awareness.

Thank goodness for this place. Go forth and evangelize!
