I understand, Barbara, holidays have always been such a mixed bag - or should I say "baggage" for me.

Happy holidays to you too.

Barb,
U can come to my house for Christmas dinner or any dinner as a matter of fact!
I see your vibrant smile on your face & that is what your brother would want for you even though
your heart is hurting during this time of year.
I too have a very hard time during Christmas missing family that I have lost and such great memories.
But I have chosen to live for the living, and find gratefulness in being blessed with family that I can share joy with during this time.

Love You My Friend

I totally understand Barbara. Luckily, this year my boss went to St. John's and gave us his house. The joke is - no place open for Christmas dinner so I made seafood stew. We go away since very little family and no place or invitations to dinner. My casa is your casa any day. Next year we come to your place or you come to ours.

Love, Maggie
