Yikes! I just ordered a refill from WalMart for my Budesonide (Entocort) 9mg/day. They called to say the Rx was ready for pick up and the cost would be greater than $1000! Choke! I went online to Aetna and learned that in general the cost from a local pharmacy for Budesonide 9mg/day is $1303.33 and if I order a 90 day supply from Aetna's Caremark mail order pharmacy it would be $2803.50!
So, I've got a call into the doctor's office to see if he still plans to take me off the medicine. I said I cannot afford it by any means. I'm thinking I will go with Enterolabs and find out what foods I'm sensitive to. That will be cheaper in the short run (if not long run) and will help me figure out how to manage my CC without pharmaceuticals.
Which tests should I get from Enterolabs??? Any information you all have is most welcomed.
Thanks,
Sharaine
More than $1000 to refile Budesonide for 30 days ... no way

Sharaine,
Many of us got/get our meds from abroad as a far reduced price, even including shipping.
Alldaychemist.com is in India. It takes about 3 weeks to get the meds, and costs about $129.
I can give you some to fill in until you get yours, so you don't have to spend that sort of money. I tried taking them, but they didn't help me, so I have many left.
Don't spend your money on the meds when an alternative is avaliable! Use it to have some fun!!
