Dairy Challenge

Post by jmayk8 »

So I am having my MRT testing done next wednesday. I have been dairy free for about 8 months now (I think). I am currently flairing (only going a few times a day but ALL watery D). I was thinking to try dairy challenge this weekend before my test. What do you guys think??

Is the MRT reliable for detecting casein-sensitivity? Most members who have tried it have found that it's pretty much worthless for detecting gluten-sensitivity, for example. Those sensitivities are best analyzed by the extremely specific EnteroLab stool tests. MRT is more suited to the more obscure food and chemical sensitivities for which EnteroLab doesn't have tests available.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
